The Chestermere Rec Center is the site for a World Record 10.5 Day non-stop hockey game to raise money for the Calgary Children’s Hospital. As of today, day 3, they have received substantial support totaling near $700,000 and there are a few big cheques yet to come in. However without support from people like you, they will not beat Edmonton’s (yes… Edmonton’s) total of $1.3 Million from their (shorter… of course) marathon hockey game last year.
If you want more information or can make even a small $20 donation to help our Hospital help kids with Cancer and other terrifying problems, go to hockeymarathon.com . There is also a number of videos of the events on YouTube, like THIS one and THIS one. Chestermerian Jose Rodriguez, who is the editor of the Calgary Sun, arranged for a $100,000 donation and is also hosting a live Webcam which you tune into HERE .
They would LOVE you to come out and cheer them on even if it is only for a short while. You can’t beat the price, free, and as you might expect it is running 24 hours a day so you can just drop in anytime. No-one will bother you to make a donation while you are there and on display is a very good silent auction.
Some come on everyone, pitch a few bucks for sick kids and try to make it out to the game!

I like the helpful information you supply to your articles.
I’ll bookmark your weblog and take a look at once more here frequently. I am somewhat certain I’ll learn a lot of new stuff proper here!
Good luck for the following!
