If you have previously accepted an invitation to join a Team as a “Guest” from outside your organization, it is far from obvious how to remove that account when you are done with it.

To remove an unwanted Guest account in Teams:

Surf to https://myapps.microsoft.com
Click you icon in the top right corner and then the ORGANIZATIONS cog
Click SIGN IN TO LEAVE ORGANIZATION beside the organization you don’t want to be connected to anymore
Click you icon in the top right corner and then the ORGANIZATIONS cog (yes, again)
Click LEAVE ORGANIZATION beside the organization you don’t want to be connected to anymore
