SOLVED: How To Disable OneDrive Personal But Keep OneDrive Business

You can stop OneDrive Personal by either unlinking it manually or by editing the registry.

Manually Stop OneDrive Personal But Keep OneDrive Business:

1. Expand the up arrow in your System Tray (bottom right of the screen, near the clock)
2. Right click on OneDrive Personal
3. Select the SETTINGS cog icon
4. Select SETTINGS
5. Click the ACCOUNT TAB
6. Click UNLINK THIS PC

Registry Change To Stop OneDrive Personal But Keep OneDrive Business:

You can remove the OneDrive personal icon from the desktop system tray by editing the following registry entry:

1. Launch RegEdit and expand HKCU > Software > Microsoft > Windows > Current Version > Explorer > Desktop > Namespace
2. Note the key for OneDrive Personal
   • Typically it is {018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6}
3. Expand KKEY_CLASSES_ROOT >CLSID
   • Locate the key that matches OneDrive Personal
4. Double click on system.IsPinnedToNameSpaceTree and change the value from 1 to 0
