If you are a Windows administrator dealing with the Junos command line requirements of a Juniper network switch can be daunting. In particular the EX2300 and EX3400 switches have a peculiarity in which neither of them have enough memory to complete a firmware upgrade.
We demonstrate how to make more space by deleting temporary and log files as well as how to use two additional Juniper apps to load part of the firmware upgrade, then delete files and then complete the upgrade.
