SOLVED: How Many Microsoft Office 365 Licenses Do I Have & Who Is Using Them?

We recently had a client ask how to quickly determine who their Microsoft Office 365 licenses were assigned to and how many spares they might have.

Fortunately this is easy to figure out:

1. Sign into portal.office.com
2. click on the ADMIN icon (cog) on the left side
   • or just surf directly to admin.microsoft.com
3. Click to expand BILLING
4. Click to expand LICENSES
   • Note the number of licenses you have there
5. Click on your Office 365 license
   • it may be called different things as there are many different Microsoft Office 365 bundles
   • Note the names of the users
