SOLVED: VIDEO: Manually Migrate a WordPress Website To A New Host

We explain and demonstrate how to manually migrate a WordPress website from one hosting company to a different one.

It is a pretty easy process if you can understand at a high level you need to:

1. backup the database on the original host
2. backup the loose WordPress files on the original host
3. on the new host, create new empty WordPress site
4. Copy the loose WordPress copes from the old host overtop of the files on the new hosts empty WordPress site
5. Restore the old WordPress database from the old host to the new hosts empty WordPress site
