*** UPDATED Dec 19 2020 with Updated Tool ***
Our copies of the MCPR have expired and we can’t get new ones. The MCRP is the CONSUMER version of the uninstaller and will not help with Enterprise McAfee products. Sooo, there are three solutions to removing old McAfee corporate products:
If you have a McAfee product that is stuck on your computer, there is a tool that McAfee developed to solve the problem. The McAfee Endpoint Product Removal tool will forcibly remove:
This McAfee uninstaller should not be confused with the much less powerful McAfee Consumer Product Removal (MCPR) Tool which only deals with consumer grade software. Both of these tools were written by McAfee and not us.
If you think you have a McAfee that is partially uninstalled and the McAfee Endpoint Product Removal tool shows UNDETECTED, put a check mark beside it and the tool will try to:
We have found this tool to be very helpful in dealing with McAfee products that were installed manually, through scripts and SCCM and through integrated products like Dell’s Endpoint Security bundle.

Hi Leme;
That site was a bit dodgy so I registered, downloaded the files, unzipped them, scanned them with 3 different tools, rezipped them and posted it at the bottom of this article (with full credit to you)
Thanks!
do you have new remover?
Hi Micheal;
We do not. If you have an updated tool, please send it to us (FTP or a link) and we will post it.
Thanks.
Thanks. The MEP removal tool still works if you changed the clock back to March 2019!!! But it was not totally clean, the system tray is still there. You can then run the MCPR to clear it. THANKS A LOT.
I have a laptop that I got used several years ago that has McAfee Drive Encryption on it and it gives me a key and wants a response to let me get into it. I just want to remove it completely so I can use the laptop. Is there another version of this program that can do this? It boots up to this and won't let me get into Windows or anything else.
Sorry Brandon; This is all we have. Two ideas:
1: You could call McAfee support and ask them for an uninstaller - I have INFREQUENTLY had success dealing with them without an active license
2: You could wipe or replace the drive and install Windows 10 for free - Scroll down to the bottom 9 instructions on : https://www.urtech.ca/2019/10/sovled-how-to-legally-install-windows-10-using-windows-7-product-key/
I hope this helps.
I know this is an old post but I wanted to thank you, for hosting the removal tool because McAfee stinks, and to thank Andy for the pointer to NirCMD and the RunAsDate -- I now have a way to remove McAfee EPO from about a couple hundred computers that refuse to update because of McAfee's incompatibility.
Yes, I agree. We used to love McAfee products but they have been so fat, intrusive and slow, even in the corporate range, we have now moved 100% of our customers to different products.
What Andy June 20, 2019 at 8:52 am said helped. That Nircmd software is nifty!
Hello guys, I am now using this tool but I got this error msg: This operating systemis not supported by EPR. My OS is windows 7. I need your help to resolve this. Thanks
Hi Irenee;
I know this does not directly help, Windows 7 is End of Life and has no support from Microsoft after January 2020 so I would suggest you wipe the machine and upgrade to Windows 10, which you can still do for free as we explain here https://www.urtech.ca/2019/10/sovled-how-to-legally-install-windows-10-using-windows-7-product-key/
thanks, it works in my comptr, just change the date n then all mcafee is uninstall
