SOLVED: How To Stop Android From Motion Dialing Gestures
If you have an Android phone and you keep pocket dialing people soon after you are texting, you might actually be motion dialing or what Android calls Direct Dialing or Gestures. Direct Dialing causes the phone to dial the number of the person you are texting if you move the phone to your ear. Unfortunately Direct Dialing / Motion Dialing / Gestures occurs when you put the phone face down or in your pocket. This can be quite annoying and expensive if you are making long distance calls.
Fortunately you can easily disable Direct Dial / Motion Dial / Gesture Dialing:
Swipe down from the top of the screen and select the SETTINGS
