If you have a modern wireless Cisco Access Point like a 2702 or an 1130, you will likely want (or need) to know what the LED status light is trying to tell you. Below are the what the LED codes mean.
When the power up sequence is complete:
See the “Configuring Power” section on page 17 of THIS Cisco document you see an amber light.

Are you using a Cisco Wireless Controller? I'm not absolutely sure, but I don't know of any Cisco AP's that will work without the separate controller.
Am trying to configure a Cisco 2600 Aironet Access Point. Am using Putty platform for my command line console on USB to Serial Port (COM14). Each time open the putty the cursor dose not respond and I can't move on. Please help. What can I do. Thanks
Have you tried setting different speeds?
I have see a few bad Cisco Aironet routers that I cannot get to respond. The unit MIGHT be defective.
