If you have a user account at the top right of your Office 2013 product and SWITCH ACCOUNT does not work, you can perform a simple registry change to correc the problem:
- Close all of your Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook…)
- Start REGEDIT.EXE
- Find HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\Identity\Identities
- Delete any of the entries under the IDENTIIES and PROFILES keys (see the screen shot)
- Start Word and notice that the Account block is now changed to whatever your Windows login is
