Hi Mkc;
I have no access to S3's anymore so what we posted is what we have :(
I have a note 2 t889 with t-mobile and im on 4.1.1 version and I dont see nw lock nv dat initialliz
This solution was negated with newer versions of Android... which I assume your 889 has :(
nw lock nv dat initilliz is missing, what can i do??
If [4] NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ does not exist. Use option [1] PERSO SHA256 INFO, this will tell you the status. if it shows:
SHA256_ENABLE_FLAG [1] it is still locked, go back and run [3]Perso SHA256 OFF and check status again
SHA256_ENABLE_FLAG [0] it is unlocked, restart your phone and insert new sim card.
tried and its still not working
You likely are using a newer version of Android and in which Google has have blocked this 'feature'. You have to be running Android 4.1 which was current when the article was written but now is very old.
I do not understand the problem. Can you provide more details?
Trying to do the instructions above but when you go to the NW Lock tab it is blank.
Hi G;
This process no longer functions under Android 4.3 . If you have an older version, this should work.
