In a word, no. However it is expected the CIRA’s addition of 16 French characters to their supported characters list will have little usage. So, if you own www.abc.ca but your legal name (or marketing name includes an accent like) www.Àbc.ca, you have the option to register that too.
Note that you don’t have to worry about some internet scumbag hijacking the French version of your domain name because only you can get them. If you have a new or existing domain name registered in English, all of its French variants (in Canada relating to .CA’s) are automatically given the exclusive right to register all of those variants. The good news is, you don’t have to and no-one else can take them from you… even if you don’t register them.
