The new OUTLOOK.COM looks very similar to Windows Mail in Windows 8 (and to a lesser degree Outlook 2013) with an ultra clean “metro” layout. Microsoft said the new web interface has 60% fewer pixels than Hotmail and as you can see in plain screen shot below, I don’t think they are miscalculating.
Outlook.com also provides free WebApps, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote as well as SkyDrive (for cloud storage).
This ‘new’ service is supposed to add and UNSUBSCRIBE link to mass mailers that do not have an unsubscribe link already. Presumably this will add them to your block list. The system also ties into your existing MSN/Live Messenger.
